Set up Cursor.
Cursor talks to your croft over MCP, so Agent can create apps, write files, and deploy to your private server - behind your login, with the code still yours.
From this page you can also hit Add to Cursor directly. It installs the Croft MCP server; then you Authenticate and you're in.

Click Add to Cursor
In your croft dashboard, open Connect your AI assistant, select the Cursor tab, and click Add to Cursor. (Or use the button above.)

Allow Cursor to open
When the browser asks to open Cursor, click Allow.

Install the MCP server
Cursor shows an Install MCP server? dialog. Leave the defaults: name croft, type Remote HTTPS, server URL
https://mcp.oncroft.net. Click Install. -
Authenticate
Cursor opens Settings on the MCPs tab. Under Needs Attention, find croft and click Authenticate. Complete authorization in the browser (you may need to Allow Cursor to open again). When you're back, croft should sit under Connected with tools enabled.

Use Croft in a chat
Open New Chat, type
@Croft, pick the Croft MCP server, and ask it to build.
So Cursor's Agent can build, deploy, and fix without stopping at every step, allow the Croft tools to run automatically. It's safe: Croft always keeps your apps behind your login, so the Agent can't expose one to the world - the sign-on sits in front of everything.
Add to Cursor installs the tools (the MCP server). To also give
Cursor Croft's skills (the know-how, so it builds the right way
from the first message), install the full plugin:
Settings → Plugins → Add marketplace, paste
https://github.com/On-Croft/agent-plugin, then install the
croft plugin.
