Set up Claude.

Claude connects to your croft as a connector. It's a one-time setup - after this, just chat. Works on the Claude free plan or better.

The whole setup, start to finish - under a minute.

  1. Open Connectors and click Add

    In the Claude app or on claude.ai, go to Customize → Connectors, then click Add.

  2. Add the Croft connector

    Enter the name Croft and the URL https://mcp.oncroft.net, accept the default settings, and click Next. This adds the connector.

  3. Connect and authorize

    Click Connect. That opens a Croft screen to log in, or, if you are already logged in to Croft, a prompt to authorize the connection to Claude. Click to authorize, then you return to Claude and the connection is complete.

  4. Set tools to Always allow

    Change the connector's tool settings to Always allow. You're done.

Why "Always allow" is safe

Croft always keeps your apps behind your login, so "Always allow" just lets Claude build, deploy, and fix things without stopping to ask you at every step. It can't expose an app to the world - the login sits in front of everything, always.
